The beast is an important part of your army. It gives you many advantages in battles like reduction of damage, increase army size, attack increase etc. Each beast has different skills which are explained below. The first skill is straight away unlocked and for the second and the third you need to evolve your beast. Each skill can be upgraded with beast XP scrolls which can be obtained by destroying rebels in the ruins, events, and through purchasing. There are several different beasts:

Panda – The panda has strong defensive skills. It protects your army for example with a shield for the frontline. The protection of the frontline is very important because the longer they last the more time your mages, angels and archers have to do serious damage on your opponent. The Panda has two active skills. First, the holy fist which give the enemy a multiplier of your normal attack damagen. Secondly, the shield which gives the front rows an extra defense for a certain period of time

Dragon – The dragon has strong damage skills. First is the ice spike which gives the current target of your opponent a multiplier of your normal attack. The second skill, rain of fire gives all targets of your opponent a multiplier of your damage

Pegasus – The Pegasus has a skill that will boost the Attack power of your back row for a certain duration. In other words, the mages and archers you use will have a greater performance. The first skill is thunder charge which attacks the current target, dealing a multiplier of your normal damage. The second one, war blessing, buffs the Attack power of your back row troops for a certain duration.

At last, the beast has also passive skills and beast talents which are explained in the other tutorials. Try to get as much xp as possible for the beast to grow/upgrade. When the beast is at level 25 all skills are unlocked and you will get the most out of your beast
